We found out where we are going to be doing our extern ships and we are SO EXCITED!!! Are you ready????
Our first rotation is:
Summer (may-aug) SALT LAKE CITY, UT Eye Institute of Utah
(Nicks from Weston, Idaho so he is happy to make a three hour commute home weekends to see family near Logan Ut)
Second rotation:
Fall (aug-dec) Centennial, CO Highline Vision Center
(I am from Lyons CO-about 2 hours from here. So i am going to be home a lot.. YIPPY! But my sister lives in Aurora ~20 min so we will be there too!)
Third rotation:
Spring (dec-may): we are back here in Memphis doing clinics at the school. Nick says this is going to be so boring compared to all the excitement of being in real offices in Colorado and Utah! Nick is in clinic right now learning the ropes.
But we are so happy. not looking forward to all the moving around but at least we get to see lots of family and friends! I don't mind coming back to Memphis in spring.. its an enjoyable time of the year for weather! Nick has to come back for boards and graduation anyway.. WOW! i cant wait! we are on our way!

I feel that same way about the weather. This is our last summer here....yipee!!!
That is so exciting! It won't be too bad coming back in the spring since he has boards and graduation. I am way happy for you guys!! Although, when all you 3rd years start leaving next year...that will be way weird.

Happy Anniversary - those pictures are SO cute!! Also, I am glad you guys are happy with your externs! How nice to know what you will be doing and be able to start making plans! We will miss you and be happy to see you again in the Spring!!
