Two Peas in a Pod

I was busy inside trying to clean as fast as i could while Tessa was outside playing-when i caught a glimpse of this.

I thought it was so cute.. Tessa and daddy are inseperable when daddy is home.

Man i cant even mow the lawn with two arms!

EASTER SUNDAY

Tessa in her pretty Easter Sunday dress. Isn't she cute! Girls are so much fun to dress up.. Look I even curled her hair! See Susan I can use hair spray! =)

Hope you all had a very Happy Easter!

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

So this Saturday we had our ward Easter Egg hunt.

I feel bad for who ever played the part of the Easter Bunny because
Tessa would not leave him alone!

She followed him around everywhere he went it seemed. Sneaking another hug here and there. She'd even jump in other peoples pictures just so she could be close to him. it was so funny.. They had lots of games for the kids and a huge field full of easter eggs (5000) is what i heard. The Laws are a family in our ward where the activity was held (in fact in walking distance from my house) and they have a lot of room and a lot of fun pets. They had a mini petting zoo. With baby chicks dyed pink and blue, a bunny, two donkeys and lot of chickens! The hunt was so much fun. As you can see in the picture they lined all the kids up and they raced to the eggs everyone had plenty! Towards the end of the event when everyone was going home. A chicken had gotten lose and was running around. All the kids where chasing it and we just laughed it off. But the next minute I turned around and low and behold here comes little Tessa holding this big old speckled hen in her arms. YEP! she had caught it all by her self and was hauling it over to show me! By then the batteries in our camera had died. How come we can ever remember to make sure they are charged? but if anyone has that pictures please send it to me! WHAT A FUN DAY!

JEEP FOR SALE

Hey Any body want a Jeep Cherokee???
Nick and I put it up for sale today.. Nick is really sad to lose his "big boy toy". However we are preparing for new baby expenses and the jeep is not a necessity being our third vehicle.

But honestly its going to be hard to say goodbye. Nick took me on our first dates in this baby. There are a lot of memories here. Even the night he purposed we took it up jeepin in the mountains and had a little marshmallow roast under the starts and danced. It was so romantic.. OH AND all the times we ran out of gas..

so thats just a tidbit about what we've been up too.. I hope we sell it fast. I am thinking we will we've already had 2 phone calls and I've had three emails for it.. its only been about 8 hours! wish us luck!

Tagged Again

Book Tag

I was tagged by Bekah once again. =) I really thought this was a fun though.. just for a random laugh.

The Rules...
1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages).
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog
5. Tag Someone new

here it goes:

"And Although it is not know whether Arava appears in breast milk, there is a good reason to suspect that it will cause serious side effects in nursing infants."

I know you are probably thinking "what the junk is that from".. Well its Nicks "PDR" book (pocket guide to prescription drugs) hes taking a pharm class right now.. I tag Rachel, Janae, Becky and Kayleigh!

BABY BOY BLAIR

Well today I had my big ultrasound. It was confirmed that I am having a boy. We got to check out his brain, and his heart, and all other organs too. Everything looks good so I feel really blessed. I even counted 10 fingers. I am happy to report my placenta has moved up and away from the cervix and thickened. Hopefully that means no more bed rest. But since I didn't get to visit with the doctor we will talk about my results in my next appointment. (two weeks) Tessa was fun she was finally able to understand that we were going to see a "movie" of the baby in mommy's tummy. She even understood brother a lot better. she was excited! So I am 5 months next week and definately on my way! thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

CHEESE! (just a cute picture)

BUBBLES!

So, I had forgotten to actually load the clothes in the wash machine the other day and when I finally remembered there were literally BUBBLES cascading out of the machine! So to turn the mistake into fun I loaded up into the sink for Tessa to play with.. After all how much of a mess could she make?

SNOW FUN!

Just when I thought we wouldn't get a good storm in this winter. BOOM! We get hit a nasty one. (well pretty good for these here parts). I know its sad, but honestly this was the first snow Tessa has ever gotten to play in.. Yep she was born in Rexburg Idaho (the ice capital of the world) but we didn't take her out in it at 6months then-and by the next winter we were here. So 32 months now and finally getting her first experience with snow! We had a blast this morning! I am so grateful to have a backyard! Too bad I am ungrateful all summer when it takes me hours to mow it! Anyway.. here are some pictures so enjoy!

SNOW!

Wow.. ! I couldn't believe it.. I really though this year would come and go without not even one single snowflake. Its pretty common around here to not get snow but I really wanted Tessa to see snow! She talks about it and I show her pictures but last year when it snowed she was just too little to remember. So I took her outside and we let our hair fill up with the white snow.. (thats the only place it would stick so she could actually see it before it disappeared. Now its just mush and wet outside.. But for one brief moment if actually felt like home.

IT DID NOT STICK HERE THIS TIME.. But check out what we got last year. I know not too impressive to those back west.. But this little storm literally shut down all of MEMPHIS!

Back to school

So, we had a really nice spring break. We didn't go any where because we had a lot of work to do around the house. I was mainly on unofficial bed rest because of spotting but I had a nice long list of things to do for Nick. We didn't get as much done as planned. I had wanted to have the nursery all painted and ready. But Nick still had dry wall to mud and sand. He spent a big chunk of the week getting the jeep ready to sell. (nicks pretty sad about saying good bye-but if anyone wants it its yours!) All in all we were successful this week and I have decided when I am feeling up to the challenge I will finish the nursery all by myself. Since school has start now again it seems like life goes back on hold. So, who wants to come and prime/paint? =)
