HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

I can't believe 5 years ago today Nick and I got married. I just want to do a little recap of that days adventure.. Happy Anniversary Nick, I love you!


The day started out early in the morning! Since we got married in Logan UT, (nicks home temple) my family and I were in town staying at a hotel. AND I was busy getting ready with my family and friends.

(we were all helping each other get ready! What a pain with only one tiny Bathroom!)

But I turned out looking ok.. =) I mean I looked dang good! I even had a waist back then! So, next Nick picked me up at the hotel and took me to the temple for pictures before the sealing. (We didn't want to make people wait afterwards for their food, so thats why we did it first. (The wedding brunch at Copper Mill. If you go to Logan EAT THERE!)

So here are some temple pictures. It was a beautiful summer day.. Not hot like here in TN!


Then the next thing we knew, it was time to tie the knot for all eternity! We had a wonderful sealing and reception and we were off for WY to Nicks grandpa's cabin for our honeymoon! WHAT A DAY!

AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER....

So, I am really big and its been really hot out! I decided to cut some pants into short/carpi's and I don't know what Tessa was thinking but she put one leg on her head! It was hilarious! Doesn't she look like a pirate or gangster or something??? Anyway just thought it was a cute pic..

Tribute to the Fathers in my Life

I know this is late but I really wanted to show you how grateful I am to the fathers in my life!


For I am more lucky than most;I've had 2 father figures in my life to love. Thank you to both who have shaped me into the person I am today!


Thank you Sam for being the best step dad ever! For being there at all those important moments in my life and supporting me. For being such a good example in the gosepl. Thank you for being a positive person, and giving me a positive out look on life in general, . Thank you for making our home (little draw Ranch) a better and happier place. I would not be the person I am today if I didn't have you as a step father. Thank you and I love you and I will forever!


Many of you don't know, but my dad passed away when I was 10 of cancer. Although our years together were short I learned some very valuable lessons from him and his kind and giving nature. His ability to serve and show others love has helped me want to give and love others and know NO strangers as he did in his life time. Thank you dad I love you and I miss you!





And of course I want to mention my Father in Heaven. Who has given me all the love in the world. For he gave me his Son, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins, that I could some day return home to live with them again. My Father in Heaven has given me these wonderful opportunities in life to make choices which have lead me to even greater happiness in life. I have been blessed and I am grateful for my Heavenly Father and placing these two great men in my life and my sweet husband who have taught me so much and I am so grateful for!

CRAZY CRAVINGS

So.. I've had some strange cravings lately.. Cucumbers, Strawberry Banana, Smoothies, and Memphis Famous BBQ nachos. What crazy things have you craved while you are pregnant??? Doesn't that mean your body is deficient in some vitamin or something so you crave foods with it?

10 THINGS

So I thought this was a fun idea. I saw it on someone else's blog and thought I would try.. So here it is..

You should do it too.. Just a fun way to get to know everyone a little better..



10 things you probably didn't know about me:


1.) My favorite color popsicles (otter pop to be exact) is green (lime)

2.) I grew up in Colorado and have only been skiing once

3.) I know all the words to "we didn't start the fire" by Billy Joel (I have too many older siblings that grew up in the 80's and one really long road trip to thank for that. Plus I am just weird and had weird friends)

4.) I play the electric guitar left handed. (However I hadn't picked it up in years and tried to play the other day when a string snapped. So being 8months pregnant and it not being a top priority in my mind right now I doubt I'll be getting that fixed anytime soon.)

5.) I started riding horses by myself when I was 6 years old. I broke a horse when I was 10 years old. (We always had horses growing up, they were like second nature to me. I did it all, bridal trained, saddle, and the getting bucked off.. Oh and the countless times I got kicked. But again- haven't been on a horse for years.. yeah like 10)

6.) I am a world traveler. (Blessed with a family that liked to get out and see new things!) I have been to: Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgum, England (UK- Scotland, Ireland, Whales), France, Mexico, and Canada. Ok not the whole world yet- but my goal is to see the "four corners of the earth" before I die.

6.) I have funny "peace" toes. (Ok let me explain this one. When I was a kid I wore my flip flops in between the second and third toe -instead of the first and second. Therefore my toes now naturally split apart there. It looks like my toes are giving a peace sign. Or Nick does the Vulcan sign from start trek to make fun of me. I am use to it. Its weird but I love my body anyway)

7.) I eat cookie dough and cake batter like crazy and I have never gotten sick!

8.) My favorite ice cream treat is TCBY twist with peanut butter cups! I am addicted to this stuff. But its a bit expensive for my nonexistent student budget.

9.) I hate all seafood.

10.) I failed my drives test the first time because I turned right on a "red" light without stopping.. But I still detest "THAT LIGHT SO WAS YELLOW!"

So here it is.. Some of you have requested some baby bump pictures. YEP there he is! I am huge! Every one makes comments like "WOW you must be due any day now"! Nope 8 more weeks I say. But I feel great! Today at the store someone asked me if i was having twins?? Its a good thing I am not sensitive or emotional about this topic.. But what do you do or say when some stranger comes up to you and says a makes a big belly comment??

POOL FUN! (yippy for june)

We finally got the pool up and running. Tessa was so excited! I even went in. I love it! Its just big enough to cool off in. This may be the way I survive the Tennessee summer. But today I realized I cant float on my stomach because I get high centered. oh well its way fun! Tessa even gave me the cutest little thumbs up! I guess she likes the pool too! If your in the neighborhood you're all welcome to join us int he pool! Its a whole 18inches deep and 8 ft wide! ;)
