Maternity Pictures Are Here!

So,
Since I am posting.. I obviously haven't had the baby yet.. I have not been induced because my doctor is out of town until Monday. What wonderful luck huh! And I drank the castor oil. What a disappointment. It didn't taste yucky to me with orange juice (i didn't taste a thing) and the aftermath was a let down too. I mean not to get too graphic on you, but I've had way better attacks after mexican food! ANYWAY... =) But it was a good try, thanks Kay! But check out these beautiful pictures! Shanda made me look like a hot mama! Thank you so much they were a pleasant distraction! here are just a few of my favorites.. There were tons more I liked but I didn't want to overload you all at once..

TO DRINK OR NOT TO DRINK?


Ok people.. So I am at the end of my rope here! 39 weeks & 4 days- its time! So I have decided to do it.. Drink the castor oil. I have now heard both sides of this nasty drink.. But I am going to give it a shot... I was going to set up a poll and ask everyone what they thought.. but my mind is made up. (well I am actually going to take it tomorrow if you are noticing the time) But I'll let you know if it works. =)

Just in case you were wondering.......

So.. I just wanted to give a little heads up.. I know a lot of you are checking my blog frequently to see if I've had that baby yet! Nope.. I haven't. =) I went to the doctor on Friday and he said he was worried about the baby's fluid levels and we would do an ultrasound and then induce me on Tuesday August 5th. So unless I have him next week than it will most likely be August 5th. I am still praying he'll come on his own, but if the Doctor is worried then I'll do what he says. So thats whats up for now.. Hope you all are doing well.

He get really into sports and he's always throwin himself on the floor and crashing into things and people.. Its a side of nick not many people get to see often. Its really funny! (but not when he gets hurt!)

NEED HELP!

Ok.. so no baby yet!
I am really getting hot and anxious.. But its different. I was so excited for Tessa to come it almost drove me crazy waiting! I am anxious this time mainly because Nicks got finals coming up in August and I need him to be around for the birth of his first son! I mean I dont want him to be really stressed out. I want him to enjoy his baby boy and not fret about getting back to class and studying. When I had tessa nick was actually studying for finals then too. I remember I was in the hospital waiting for my epidural and Nick had the p-chem book open and was trucking away!
I really feel fine. I dont mind having that last few days/weeks to spend one on one with Tessa. Plus I have things to do! I mean we are trying to sell the house this spring! (not that sleeping on the couch has been wonderful) But its a whole different anxiety. SO.. I plead for your help! What are some things you have done that have helped naturally induce your labor??? I will try anything!




PS. Here is a nice long piece of cheese! We have been doing some very interesting things around the house for entertainment lately.. It been too hot to go outside! She actually beat me on this one!

UPDATE

hey-
Just wanted to let you all know, I went to the doctor on Thursday and I am dialated! yippy! I was so happy! (well only a 1 but still that counts as progress!) I am getting really anxious! I have another appointment this week and the Doctor is going to strip me and see if that gets anything going. He says baby is about 7lbs now! I don't want to wait 2 more weeks and have a 9 lb baby! So hopefully this is my big week! (I keep praying I have him this Thursday because nick has that day off !) wish me luck!

HOT MAMA!

Well, As requested once again.. Here is me! VERY PREGNANT!

Nick took this picture Sunday.. SO thats up to date. I am ready to have this baby any day now! Tomorrow I go to the doctor and hopefully I have progressed! Last week 0 dilation! I'll let ya know. I have the nursery almost done! Still trying to get organized. Any last minute advice?

Mommy and Daddy got her a bike! (yippy for TN yard sales!) She loved it! Nick spent along time trying to teach her to ride. But it was so hot out we had to come in.. We will keep working on the peddling. She'll have it down soon enough!

We had a great weekend! We watched fireworks in Bartlett and Tessa loved it!

EXTERNS!

We found out where we are going to be doing our extern ships and we are SO EXCITED!!! Are you ready????

Our first rotation is:

Summer (may-aug) SALT LAKE CITY, UT Eye Institute of Utah
(Nicks from Weston, Idaho so he is happy to make a three hour commute home weekends to see family near Logan Ut)

Second rotation:

Fall (aug-dec) Centennial, CO Highline Vision Center
(I am from Lyons CO-about 2 hours from here. So i am going to be home a lot.. YIPPY! But my sister lives in Aurora ~20 min so we will be there too!)

Third rotation:

Spring (dec-may): we are back here in Memphis doing clinics at the school. Nick says this is going to be so boring compared to all the excitement of being in real offices in Colorado and Utah! Nick is in clinic right now learning the ropes.

But we are so happy. not looking forward to all the moving around but at least we get to see lots of family and friends! I don't mind coming back to Memphis in spring.. its an enjoyable time of the year for weather! Nick has to come back for boards and graduation anyway.. WOW! i cant wait! we are on our way!
